Jessica Smith of Lakewood, Washington, was excited to hear from us that she had won this month's YO Club. Having owned her '67 Mustang hardtop for only about two years, we're sure she'll have no trouble finding something to buy with her American Pony Parts gift certificate.
Her '67 came equipped with the factory 289 small-block, to which she and her boyfriend have added some fun with the help of an Edelbrock intake and carburetor. On the outside, the metallic blue paint has been augmented with '03 Cobra Mustang 18-inch rims.
Stationed in Germany during her most recent military stint, Jessica became bored with European cars and couldn't wait to find an American model once she got home.
"It was the first classic car I had seen in years, and I immediately fell in love," she says about spotting her Mustang on the side of the road. The car had a for-sale sign on it, but to Jessica's luck, the owner had only recently pulled it out of the garage.
Jessica says she loves her Mustang and drives it daily, and that she's glad she stumbled upon it.
